Ensign Nichols here. My weekends from Memorial through June are spent at Koroneburg Old World festival, 4600 Baron, Eastvale, CA 92880. I am doing in-depth anthropology studies on primative human civilizations who are refining weapons using projectile explosives. My undercover persona is a games Mistress in the court of the Duke of Parma who is marching his impressive Musquetaros, Cannons, swordsmen and pikes through the Germanies to squelch the uprising in the Spanish Netherlands. We have visitors from 10-7 on Saturday and 10-6 on Sunday. Most excellent admission prices are on Groupon. Other shipmates are welcome to observe my work, and wholeheartedly invited to enjoy the fun. MUCH smaller and less commercial than Southern Faire. Please share the invitation!
This year I have been to Hawaii twice and a week in Temecula. I do want to attend Vegas but need to share housing cost. If anyone wants to, please have them contact me. I have a normal membership.

Beyond that I am still looking for property in Hawaii and quilting away. I have enclosed pictures.<br>

Today started slower, in that I've been severally worn out; it's only been 3 years since this con ran - due to Covid. It has been physically more taxing than I expected but it's a refreshing tired, really.

Today I'm the door dragon, yet again, an odious task, but one I embrace.

Enjoying people watching while 'door dragon'ing. Just watched while some of our talent "Tabias Jelinx" and "Larry Bagby" chilling in one of the halls sharing a quick video. Just reminds people that talent are people just as much as the avg joe. Always be respectful of the talent, but remember they're people, too.

Today has been closer; we were hoping for a larger attendance, but it is sadly thin. We started with 8 volunteers, we're down one today (Lakota has not been seen yet). But suprisingly we've not really needed most of what we have. We have 2 playing 'Door Dragon' and the rest are floating, and letting those assigned to places a break.

Sir Sooty has been added to our security team at the Federation table. Sir Sooty is a gray dragon, with black eyes, and a suprisingly cuddly disguises. He is lacking formal pips or communication badges, but this is sure to be rectified at our earliest convenience.

The Sunnydall Mall has seen slow, but steady traffic. The Ballroom has also seen a slow and steady stream of attentive bodies.

Yesterday's Outreach program was a success. Multiple people were talked with throughout the day. Of particular note, Dame Dr. Muni Irone, Philantrophiest Queen of Beverly Hills, and Charles Point, a very important individual in that he is the head of FEMA - whom we spoke with several times throughout the day.

The funny part, is that the day before I managed to bring in not only a new recruit for the Federation, but a volunteer for the Convention as well.
