The day started with an early arrival at noon for the meeting, only to find that ALL lanes were taken up by a memorial bowl for a regular and wouldn't be free until maybe 3pm. So we tucked into the pool hall to wait it out. We did discuss a few plans; one of which was a realization that (through a lot of recycling donations) we had enough in our till to pay for half of the STLV23 already, if Russ is open to paying the other half as he did in '22. CO Guill agrees with this plan, and with some planning perhaps we can even get a power line to the table.
(Idea: if each chapter participating donates some to the table, perhaps we could get more than one table)
Carrie accidently broke the key to Mike's car, so driving it home was not an option - Daedalus was used to retrieve the spare key from Firelace Actual. But that wasn't the sum of adventure had today, as Carrie also had a seizure (known medical) in the seventh frame... Merlin landed on his knee trying to catch her as she fell.... And then resprained his left ankle on the 8th frame...
Cpt Guill collected a very large bag of recycling from us before heading off return Hisa to his quarters before going to his own quarters..
So summation, we left Firelace Actual at 1100 and are just returning around 1800 with all hands accounted for.
In attendance we had: Kody Wilson, Max Wilson, Merlin Wilson, Carrie, Corey and Michael Falcone, Nathan Guill, Charles Hisa, and Paige Larson, and dialing in for a quick minute we had Andrew San Juan.
